met cheryl in school yesterday morning for the chiang rai shirt-fitting. but we couldn't find anyone around for the longest time. so we were moaning in the canteen about how we made a wasted trip, and then we bumped into emily!
lunch with less than 1/4 of the shooters after that! hahaha! we realised that word wouldn't get spread around in time to the lower sec, and people like marianne suddenly couldn't make it, so it ended up being just me, olivia, rachel & amanda laura who went for it. and we went to seoul garden at marina square because rachel insisted on it, despite amanda and my pleadings not to go there. anyway, olivia and i snuck out halfway to buy a slice of cake from secret recipe for rachel. we brought it back to seoul garden and made a hell lot of noise, but no one stared at us or anything, which was quite funny.
left them early for my dental. they gave me back the moulds of my teeth since it was my last session there. haven't opened them though, i think they'd be so gross.
caught most of the roddick-djovokic match at night! not all of it, because i was flipping between that match, the england-czech republic football match, and friends. david bentley looks like a small boy now, with his hair all grown out. but anyway, the roddick-djokovic match was so exciting! roddick sucked in the 1st 2 sets lah! so he lost 2-6, 3-6 i think, and then he suddenly stepped up his game in the 3rd set! he only had 1 ace after both the 1st & 2nd sets, but then shot 9 aces in the 3rd set alone. crazy lah! so he won it 6-3. and then, oh my, the 4th set was so shiok! roddick was leading 5-2 but then djokovic caught up and they had to go into a tie break, which djokovic eventually won 7-5. it was such a waste for roddick! but oh well, he's getting old anyway. my dad was watching the match with me, and he was asking me all sorts of questions about the match that it became damn funny.
i wanted to watch the match damn badly since yesterday cos i wanted to see what would happen with djokovic after robredo and roddick commented on him faking injuries! didn't see what happened, but apparently djokovic retorted back to roddick's comments after winning the match and got boo-ed by the crowd in flushing meadows. hahahaha! i don't understand why djokovic got so mad at roddick since roddick always gets sarcastic and says such things. but anyway, i wanna watch the djokovic-federer match now! i hope federer wins, surprisingly. it's good that he's no longer the one to beat. i'd normally support djokovic for any event, but after all the drama & controversy, he'd be better off winning next year so that the flushing meadows crowd will get their satisfaction lah huh.
i miss watching tennis & football!!! i was watching some old ucl match between arsenal and inter milan a few weeks back, and it was so damn good. it was probably an '04 match, so there were all the people i love in both teams. arsenal scored thrice in the last 20 minutes, after leading inter milan 3-1 before that. amazing!
